Jump Start Painting

There is nothing that will jump start your painting habit like a weekend in a beautiful place with lots of free time and no responsiblities.  This past weekend I celebrated my sister's 50th with several siblings and lots of her friends by snowshoeing to Vance's cabin, part of the 10th Mountain Division Hut System in Colorado.

We could not face popping all of the birthday party balloons to be packed out as garbage, so we attached them to backpacks and sleds to add color to the trek back to the car.

Yup! I have already started training for her 60th birthday hut trip!

Hi Nan, I'm just checking out this site for the first time. I LOVE These snow and tree paintings. So peaceful and the balloons add a touch of whimsy. You're so talented! Thanks for sharing! Will any of these show up on your site for sale? Colorado snow and trees remind me of Wisconsin snow and trees - not TODAY, mind you (102 here tomorrow) but those kind of images, especially the way you present them, make me feel at home. Don't stop painting!!

Thaks Lisa!
I sold one already and am occasionally posting the other two on ebay. But I can sell directly too, these are about 5x7 so the price and shipping would be the same as paintings that size in my etsy shop.
